Zero Gravity centers on a diverse group of ambitious students from a community in San Jose, CA. Over summer vacation, they accept the challenge in a nationwide tournament to create the winning code that will guide satellites in space.
Their journey, under the guidance of their first-time coach, ultimately sees their incredible accomplishment performed by astronauts aboard the International Space Station. With insights into the students’ personal lives and family struggles, the importance of encouraging math and science programs in schools is reflected in the children’s realization that when it comes to what they can hope to achieve, the sky truly is the limit.
