Venezuelan-born flamenco prodigy Siudy Garrido aspires to bring flamenco to a wider US audience by infusing it with elements of hip-hop and creating a spectacular stage show unlike anything seen before. With her dance troupe, they bring their production to a famed midtown New York stage in hopes of sustaining a long run at the venue. But in the toughest live-theater market in the world, the backstage challenges in the run-up to opening night and the excruciating anticipation of critical reactions prove to be as dramatic as anything that transpires on any Broadway stage.

Born in Washington, DC, and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Pablo Croce is an award-winning director and producer. He won Best New Documentary Director at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival for his documentary on UFC champion Anderson Silva, Like Water.
