Bachar Khattar
Bachar Khattar was born in Lebanon and grew up in Beirut, where he finished his studies in audiovisual at Saint Joseph University.
Khattar’s versatility in filmmaking includes cinematography, directing and producing, and has led to productions in more than 25 countries around the world. His work includes award-winning commercials, TV shows, web series and documentaries.
Khattar directed, filmed and produced Confessions of a Runner, which went on to win Best Film in Mountain Sports at Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival and Best Mountain Sport Film at Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival.
Patrick Vaughan
Patrick Vaughan is an entrepreneur and ultra athlete who executive produced and starred in the award-winning documentary Confessions of a Runner.
He was a standout soccer player in his youth until a life-altering disease ended his athletic participation. Later, overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds, Vaughan went on to run his first half-marathon trail race, the North Face Endurance Challenge, and three years later, his first ultramarathon.
After filming Confessions of a Runner, Vaughan went on to host a series of short films featuring ultra-running events and competitors.
