Scientology Network’s MEET A SCIENTOLOGIST, the weekly series spotlighting the everyday lives of Scientologists from around the world and all walks of life, announces a new episode featuring freestyle skiing legend, Bob Salerno, premiering November 27, 2018.
MEET A SCIENTOLOGIST airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Scientology Network.
Bob Salerno is one of the pioneers of freestyle skiing. Performing breathtaking aerial stunts and daredevil jumps brought him fame, world championships and led to his induction into the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
A native of Ogden, Utah, Bob Salerno started skiing at the age of 14. When he was in high school, freestyle skiing was born, and he quickly rose to the top of the sport, competing in moguls and aerials. Dubbed the “Legend of Freestyle” by Ski Magazine, his air-chasing, snow-flying acrobatic skills were regularly featured in magazines and films. Over the years, Bob competed on slopes around the world, winning both the World Championship and the World Hot Dogging Championship. Now, his passion is to train others to ski and snowboard, and his company, Virtual Snow, has developed a revolutionary method to do just that. A three-time world-champion freestyle skier, his role as a pioneer in the sport has been honored with induction into the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
