Daniel Putkowski
Daniel Putkowski began his creative journey as a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He initially explored filmmaking before turning to writing, where he rose to prominence with a #1 bestselling novel and cultivated a devoted international readership. Over the next decade, Daniel built a compelling body of work—spanning thrillers, speculative dystopias and gritty urban fiction—garnering praise from outlets like CNN and the Philadelphia City Paper. Daniel returned to his visual storytelling roots, pivoting to documentary filmmaking and ultimately his directorial debut of Heirloom: Guitar.
